PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds sales top 15 million

By Sherif Saed

The number of copies sold of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds continues to grow, as does every other statistic about the game.

Battlegrounds has now sold over 15 million copies on Steam, according to the most recent update on analytics site Steamspy.

The game was only released in late March, and has not seen any price drops since then. Sure, you can buy it for a bit less than $30 from places outside of Steam, but the discount is not really big compared to other games in the same price category.

As a result of these impressive numbers – which continue to climb every day – the game came pretty close to having 2 million concurrent players over the weekend. As well as archiving such a massive growth in a short span of time, PUBG has broken Steam records nobody thought any game could.

The last time developer Bluewhole spoke about game sales, it was to announce that PUBG had sold 10 million copies. That was just over a month ago, which is admittedly a long time in the world of PUBG.
