Sea of Thieves has had various forms of alpha tests since last December, but developer Rare only selected a limited number of players each time.
Now, the studio is opening the floodgates, allowing anyone to sign up and be part of the next big Sea of Thieves test. All you need to do is sign up for the Sea of Thieves Insider programme.
If you sign up between now and December 1, you will be invited to the next play session. Just head to the official page and you’re all sett. There are a few things to keep in mind, however.
First, there’s going to be an NDA, meaning you’ll have to be 18 years or older to sign it. You’ll also need Xbox Live Gold, but only if you’re playing on Xbox One. Being an NDA’d test, you won’t be able to capture footage or stream it.
There’s no date yet from when this next test will start, but it’s going to be the final one before the game’s release early next year. For more details, see the FAQ.
