Call of Duty: WW2 holds no. 1 spot in UK charts, has highest second week sales of any game in 2 years

By Sherif Saed

Call of Duty: WW2 has topped the UK charts for a second week, boasting even more of an impressive performance in the second week.

Call of Duty: WW2’s second week on sale saw it top FIFA 18’s second week sales. In fact, it has the highest-selling second week of any game released this year, and in 2016.

Activision announced at release that the game’s launch revenue is more than double that of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s. FIFA 18 pushed Assassin’s Creed: Origins into the third spot by holding the number two spot.

Need for Speed: Payback debuted at number four, which is a spot below the 2015 Need for Speed. Sonic Forces actually debuted at number five, despite lacklustre reception.
