The Comrades multiplayer expansion has been released for Final Fantasy 15.

Final Fantasy 15 players can now jump in together and fight to restore Light to the world during Noctis’s absence.

The multiplayer expansion for Final Fantasy 15 was initially set to release on October 31 but was delayed into early November in order to “create the best possible experience,” after conclusion of beta testing.

Alongside the extra content, a new game update was implemented to allow players to accept multiple hunt quests at one time  It also added new cooking recipes.

Comrades takes place after the events of Chapter 13 in the main game. Players take on the role of the remaining survivors of the Kingsglaive.

Players can create and customize their own avatar and go on quests in a “world engulfed by darkness.” As members of the Kingsglaive, players will equip royal sigils granting special powers and battle with each other against strong foes and beasts.

In addition to multiplayer quests, players can experience the story unfold in a thorough single-player campaign. By using the base of operations in Lestallum, players can go on quests and “encounter familiar faces.”

The Final Fantasy 15: Comrades is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Those who don’t own the $25  Season Pass can purchase it separately for $19.99.

Next year,  additional content will be released and it will delve more into other characters through additional episodes. Until that time, Final Fantasy 15 players can dive in to Episode Ingis on December 13.

PC users will get their hands on Final Fantasy 15 sometime in early 2018.
