Unlockable armor sets will come in handy while traipsing across the landscape in Monster Hunter World.
Monster Hunter World features all kinds of armor, and like the weapons video we posted earlier, we were given a look at some of the early options.
In the video below, Arekkz shows off the armor he unlocked in an early portion of the game. Like the Monster Hunter World weapons video, stats aren’t show because the game is still in development. Stats and the like tend to change many times over during the course of creation.
You will, however, get a look at the UI which has seen a big quality of life update compared to the 3DS games. This allows the player to see all the armor pieces listed as sets, to make it easier for crafting.
Various sets of armor will be available with Leather, Chainmail, Hunter’s, Bone, Kulu, and Alloy as a few examples.
This is also where you can keep track of your armor and weapons, as well as their stats, and the materials needed to craft them.
Don’t forget: PlayStation Plus members will be able to participate in the Monster Hunter World beta on PS4 December 9-12.
Monster Hunter World releases on January 26 for PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version hasn’t been dated.
