Of course this week’s Destiny 2 Faction Rally has a token farming exploit

Destiny 2 players should probably expect a hotfix in the next few days. Then again, maybe not, since this week’s Faction Rally ends on November 13.

Apparently, there’s an exploit in this week’s Faction Rally in Destiny 2 which allows players to farm close to 140 tokens with just 15-20 minutes of effort in the Lost Sector.

The last Faction Rally also had a farming exploit, and while Bungie fixed it and changed Faction Rally around a bit, a new way to gain coins quickly with minimal effort has been found.

According to a video posted by xHoundishx on YouTube, using the method outlined in the video, players are able to earn over 500 tokens for Faction Rally within one hour. Then again, you can easily earn hundreds of tokens an hour with focused play, as our Destiny 2 Faction Rally guide notes, and and even more just by continuing to do what you usually do.

For those who are unable to watch the video, reddit user Cory-B provided a step-by-step method.

1. Zone into Winding Cove in the European Dead Zone
2. Run a bit north and head down the hole into the Lost Sector
3. Defeat the boss, get the chest
4. Directly above the chest is a door that you can use to get back to the surface. As you’re walking up, as soon as you see the “Winding Cove” area load, turn around, head back to the chest, and you can loot it again.
5. Back through the door, wait for “Winding Cove”, and back to the chest to loot again. Rinse and repeat this step.
