Stardew Valley is getting additional content that will affect both single-player and multiplayer games
Stardew Valley, which is already a pretty massive game, is going to get at least a little bit bigger.
It’s been a while since we heard anything about Stardew Valley’s multiplayer mode, which is meant to be in beta before the end of the year. Now we’ve had a small update to confirm that the new multiplayer content will also add new stuff for players who prefer to remain alone.
I'm working on some new Stardew Valley content, to be released with the upcoming free multiplayer update. This will affect single-player, too! I'll share more when the release gets closer. Though I'll keep some things secret (more fun) pic.twitter.com/rgWCt8IIRi

Eric Barone, who goes by ‘Concerned Ape’ on Twitter, posted the above image, promising that the next update with affect the game’s single-player portion as well.
It’s not entirely clear what this boat is, of course. Worst case scenario, it’s a fairly plain merchant boat. But maybe we can get on it and go somewhere!
Stardew Valley recently came to the Switch, and is also available on PS4 and Xbox One. When asked whether this update would come to all systems, Barone said that it would, but that the PC update would probably go through first.
